Frequently Asked Questions

When will I get a response to my email or inquiry?

I try to answer all correspondence within 48 hours (two business days) of its receipt. Depending on email volume, which can vary between 40 and 100 emails a day, it may take me a day or two longer, especially if your response will require significant typing. But if you haven't heard from me in a week, by all means email again, as the internet grue may have eaten your message.

When will I get my order?

Most items have a one-week handling time, except for custom orders, which average about ten days but will vary depending on the customization. See item details for the specifics of the item you have ordered or want to order. Handling time for large orders and international orders will also vary, and will usually be a bit longer than a week. How can I check the status of my order?

I use the United States Postal Service's Priority Mail services to ship, and will generate your label and tracking number via either Paypal shipping or USPS Click-and-Ship. Both shipping software programs will send an automated email to the paypal address associated with your payment account. This email will also give you the tracking number, which you can use to check the status of your package online.

When will I get my reading or consultation?

Readings and consultations are done on a first-come, first-served basis. By purchasing a reading or consultation, you are reserving your spot in line. If you have an emergency or deadline, the time to ask if I can meet it is before you purchase, not after. I am generally booked out on consultations for 1-2 weeks, and on readings 4-6 weeks. Consultations are done more frequently and more quickly, as they do not require me to set aside the same amount of uninterrupted time that readings require. So while I only do about one full reading per week, I usually do several consultations a week. If you do not have your consultation right away, please do not keep emailing me asking where it is. If you have confirmation that I have received your info, then I have confirmed that you are in line. If you pester me about where your consult or reading is, I will just refund your money.

I understand that clients who seek readings and consultations are often very eager, sometimes even desperate, to get their reading results. I do understand this, and that is why I am committed to helping you find a reader or rootworker who can help you if my turnaround time doesn't work for you. But if I don't get back to you with your results right away, please understand it is because I give each client who orders a reading or consultation plenty of time and attention, and so sometimes a reading or consultation will take longer than I initially expected. Rest assured that when it's your turn, you'll get the same time and attention.

How do I book a phone consultation or phone reading?

The best way to arrange this is by emailing first, where we can see how our schedules match up and arrange the booking fee. Phone consultations and phone readings are generally booked out about 8 weeks, as I can only do about one a week at most, since most of my time is dedicated to my current clients and I reserve the bulk of my reading and consultation time for them. I'm an international customer, and I want to order something, but your cart isn't set up to handle international shipping yet.

I'm working on this, and will eventually resolve it. In the meantime, you have two options. One is to select the items you want, add them to your cart, and pay the total via paypal. Leave a note in the "comment" box of the paypal payment page explaining that you need to pay international shipping. I will then send you a paypal invoice for the shipping fee. A second option is to send me an email with a list of what you would like to order, and I can prepare an invoice with the items + shipping all in one place, so you can pay with one click.

I don't use/like/understand/trust Paypal. What other payment methods do you accept?

I currently accept money orders as the ONLY payment alternative to paypal. If you are an international customer, you would need to pay with an international money order. I do NOT accept checks, Western Union, cashier's checks, or anything else. I accept money orders and paypal only. Please send me an email if you would like to make a purchase with a money order and I will give you contact instructions.

When will you return my phone call? I left a message.

I probably won't, myself, but my assistant will probably return your phone call within a week, and take down any further information. She will advise you that the fastest way to get a response from me is via email, and then, if you're ok with my current turnaround time on phone consultations, she will set up an appointment for you and instruct you on how to send payment. I do not do any telephone readings or consultations without a pre-paid booking fee. If you require telephone contact with me personally from the outset, then you will be happiest working with another rootworker/reader.
