PLEASE NOTE: Consultations are done on a first-come, first-served basis, and by purchasing a consultation, you are reserving your spot in line. The turnaround time is usually between 10-20 business days; upon receipt of your booking fee, you will receive an estimated response time and further information about how to send your info, question, etc. If you have an emergency or a deadline, please contact me to discuss it BEFORE booking your consultation. Consultations for Rootwork Services
Clients seeking rootwork or altar work services usually need a consultation first. In a consultation, I will assess your situation, tell you whether I will take your case, make a recommendation for spiritual or spell work, and give you an estimate on a cost for that work.
Most mojo bags and single-candle light setting services may be ordered without a formal consultation - simply email me to discuss the details of your request. All other types of altar work or conjure cases require a formal consultation before I can say if I would take your case and give you a quote for the fees. Consultations for Advice or Guidance
You should book an email consultation if you are seeking advice about what spiritual work is most appropriate for your situation; want personalized, detailed suggestions about products or spell work to help you with your concerns; and/or want a diagnosis on the likelihood of success for whatever conjure work you are currently performing or considering. The consultation sessions I offer are for discussing specific cases or situations. They are advice- and guidance-oriented. Though consultations may involve divination, they differ from stand-alone readings; they are goal-oriented, targeted, and have a narrow focus, and are meant to provide you with specific advice and remedies from a hoodoo perspective.
While I answer questions about my products happily and free of charge, and can often make recommendations about what sort of product you should get for your particular desired outcome, sometimes clients want a little more -- a little more direction, a suggestion for an unusual case, a suggestion for a type of spell, or some more detailed feedback on the best way to approach their own situation. A consultation will get you this personal attention and advice.
Usually, I will do a one to three card reading on the best way to approach your situation -- basically this is a reading about what spiritual work is recommended (if you have no idea what to do) or on the likelihood of success for the type of working you have planned (if you do have an idea what to do). This is essentially a reading for rootwork advice. I will then give you recommendations on the steps to take, or, if you know what approach you want to take, will proceed to answer your specific questions with greater detail than I can give for general inquiries. Thus, this service is also suitable if you would like guidance or instruction on how to do your own rootwork.
This is NOT an in-depth reading about your case -it is NOT a relationship reading or a look into what job application is your best bet. This is a reading/consultation about what action you should consider taking on a spiritual level.
Example of the sorts of rootwork questions I am happy to answer via my email contact form at no charge:
Q: "What do you recommend to patch up the spat my husband and I have had?"
A: "Honey jars are often used for this type of situation with excellent results..."
Q: "I have a big test coming up - should I use Crown of Success or Full Mental Jacket?"
A: "That will depend on your situation; I may recommend either or both. If your grades have been good, then..."etc.
You do not need to purchase a consultation for short, direct, to-the-point questions like those above.
Example of the sorts of questions that you should get a consultation for:
Q: "Can you tell me what I should do to work a "break up" spell on my spouse and her new lover if I don't know the new lover's name or my spouse has left and is in another state now?"
Q: "I have to tell you the background of [fill in the blank] ..."
You get the idea, I hope. If you cannot ask your question in two sentences, or if a two-sentence answer will not help you, then you probably need a consultation.
As the nature of each situation will vary, so will the length of this report. They will be delivered via email , and I will provide followup support/advice on the working at no additional charge. For instance, you begin a honey jar spell but run into a problem with one of the ingredients and need to ask about what kind of substitution you can make, or what you should do if your candle went out and you can't get it relit. I will help you with this as part of the original consultation service. I will NOT proceed to answer brand-new questions about different spells or spellwork or situations - if you have a second, or different, issue, spell, or concern, you need a separate consultation.
Readings versus Consultations
Please note that I am currently booking new clients for consultations, but not for full, standalone readings that are not specific to spiritual / altar work being undertaken or considered.
